*sigh* I was really rooting for Rusty Slammington...
Love the Group 5 inspired body kit, the story, and the rat rod style.

I can’t say I love the modifications on the Z, but as a Z guy, fuck yeah we win! Is that a Rocket Bunny Z? I’ve seen a red one like that I think. And the old Rusty was much better with the gold Ronals.

The flares on the Z look ridiculous, but I’m glad that us Z guys are represented a bit haha

Awesome. Now GT will feature 48 Zs instead of only 47. Maybe next time they can give the award to a Skyline or RX-7. They don’t have enough variants of those in the game either.

It’s still a hell of a lot better then this atrocity:
and besides, for the second time since it’s started, we have a non-American SEMA winner. Maybe it's a sign to come of more diversion. I could care less about the Premium vs. Standard differences. It's the lack of Euro cars that pisses me off.
(To be fair, in 2014, this FRS was also at SEMA)

The Z has a Pandem body kit by TRA Kyoto. Though the front definitely has an overbite.
And i always thought the Ronals were just a tiny bit to flashy. And I'd be more disappointed if they rebuilt it exactly as it was before it got burned to a crisp. Either way I just love how Rusty has literally NO reason to exist, and yet it does. I love the Group 5 inspired body kit, even more so because it was hand built in a garage, not a high tech facility with machines. It’s just bonkers.

Rusty isn't running yet, that may have held it back. Or not, I have no idea how they reach a decision.

Oh I see, this is the rocket bunny. I don’t like any of this stuff. My Z only has period correct additions. I do have Enkei wheels but I got them because they looked a lot like Watanabes minus the $4000. I am pretty against resto modding, I think older cars need to keep their feel. There is a company in the UK that makes fiberglass Z shells now so you can build a complete reproduction, just like a Mustang, restomod those.

All that body work and no light covers?

Yeah it’s good they won but I am not a fan of that stuff.
